Cozy is a word I definitely LOVE. It's another way of saying comfortable which I'd say most people would love to feel in their home. Below is a mix of items to create a cozy living room. An elegant combination of patterns with the right neutral mix of colors can be the perfect amount of spice mixed with gold accents to end the story on a great note. This collage will give that sense of being in a movie scene we've all notice and wondered how to put together. Definitely on the feminine side but once put together, all you'll need are those fresh flowers in a antique vase. A light brown shade with a cream base for the walls as shown in the inspiration photo would work well. Aqua and Gold is a lovely combination and is what inspired our mood board for today. This board might inspire you to look into these colors if you are a January baby, an aquarian, like myself. Aqua, short for aquamarine, is a calming cool and refreshing color that is reminiscent of the ocean. It is believed to have soothing effects, and also associated with confidence and idealism. A HEALTHY HOME

It’s that time of the year where even the gym has happy hours. As I realized all the machines were already taken yesterday, it got me thinking, what would I want MY gym to look like? I collected some images to help inspire a healthy lifestyle at home. Some important elements to remember are: a water station, towel rack, a small fridge and a TV. Then nobody has to ask “are you done with this machine?." Enjoy!

BLOOM

I know it can be overwhelming to find a plant that looks great in your home without giving it that jungle feeling. Choosing the right plant may also need some consideration. If you choose to go fresh, consider keeping an eye on them by watering it and making sure it gets the right amount of sun. By choosing an artificial plant, you'll need to pay attention to the dust that never fails to appear. One plant per room is ideal and two should be fine if symmetry is a key element in the space. Whatever you decide, plants are known to be soothing and be that final touch to a beautiful space. Enjoy!

NIGHTS BY THE WATER

Hello again, I would like to share this mood board inspired by the dark blue paint shown in the inspiration picture I found on Houzz.com. This room is mature with classic and modern taste. If you love nights by the ocean, this room may just have a spot in your heart. With matte navy blue paint, antique gold picture frames with black and white photos, it might just inspire that night walk by the beach. Enjoy!

Adore Home is a great place to find inspiration for those of you who love interior design with pops of color. Hot pinks, aqua, even bright yellow can be lovely when done right. The feeling of youth and happiness shines through. Don't be afraid to mix textures such as silk, faux fur, wood and metals such as gold or silver. Did you read that book 50 Shades of Grey? I did, but ended up stopping half way through. I do however remember wondering what Christian Grey's home looked like. None the less, I found this photo on pinterest and thought masculine, attractive, and calm. If you love grey, a great option is to look for silver accents, stripes, and soft textures which are all good to pair with this powerful, neutral color. The more lighter the shades you are working with, the darker the walls can be. The darker your items combine, the lighter your walls should be. Don't forget those black books and architecture magazines for a nice touch. Enjoy!

Truth is, even I get lost when I walk in to an empty space with white walls and with sites like Houzz, Pinterest, Tumblr, you will find that the possibilities are endless! I'd like to share with you some ideas I've found interesting that could give you some inspiration.
